Postgraduate studies
Hello
everyone!! Today I'm going to write you about the specialization that I want to
do in the future, when I finish my career, I don't have it clear, but I know
what I like:
First, I will tell you what aspects of the
career I worry about, I've been reading about anthropology and it has
interested me because I think the architecture don't take care about the
people, for example when I listen my classmates I realize they describe the
space, the building and colors, but don't say anything about what people do,
what activities do, how are people related, etcetera.
So, I want to know cualitative aspects of the
architecture and how people used the spaces that architects design, althought I
would like study anthropology, I know is another career that would take a lot
of time and money, so I’ve been thinking in study a postgraduate in Mexico or Argentina.
I chose
these countries, because their universities have qualitative research courses
and public spaces courses, so I think that’s the way to specialize my knowledge.
Also, I
know Mexico have a lot of preocupations about the social housing and how the
people live in community, and on the other side, Argentina, despite being in
crisis, historically they have many public politics about public spaces.
¿What about you? Tell me your plans in the comments J
that's cool! I really like your viewpoint and how you would like to take the architecture to the anthropological aspects
ResponderBorrarthat's true, we don't do architecture for the normal people, we do architecture to be recognized for other architects, that's why exist the thinking "architects are selfcentred"
